My Story
Why Work With Me
Sometimes in today’s modern world we don't have the time or the energy to tackle DIY or home maintenance ourselves. I believe that weekends are sacred and should be spent resting, reenergising and relaxing with friends and family. Life's too short to spend our time struggling with a job at home that we don't enjoy, but a professional can help you get the job done to an expert standard so you can truly enjoy your home.
After a 45 year career managing projects from renovating historical churches to running million pound property projects, the last of which was a beautiful Georgian Mansion in Belgravia, I founded PKR Carpentry, Joinery & Household Maintenance to bring the same quality and detail to smaller private projects, from internal decor and maintenance to bespoke handmade products and furniture.

I have an expertise in carpentry and joinery, being City and Guilds qualified to advanced level, then going on to pass the entrance exams of the Institute of Carpenters Est. 1890.
